About Dr. David Brady
People with this debilitating health challenge come from all over the country and the world to my practice, now in Fairfield, Connecticut. As a leading naturopathic medical physician, a functional medicine doctor, a board certified clinical nutritionist, and a professor, (with initial training in physical medicine as a chiropractor), my diverse background and experience give me a wide vantage point, one that few doctors possess, for getting to the bottom of pain syndromes.
That is why it’s easier for me than it is for the average doctor to understand, appreciate, and differentiate the underlying biochemical and physical elements of these pain syndromes. In The Fibro-Fix, I will pass that knowledge along to you, by presenting the comprehensive approach I’ve evolved over these decades of experience.
In addition to my practice at Whole Body Medicine in Fairfield, I also serve as the Vice President for Health Sciences and the Director of the Human Nutrition Institute at the University of Bridgeport in Connecticut. I am a prolific author of medical papers and research articles on fibromyalgia, and have become one of the leading patient advocates in the field of fibromyalgia and global pain syndromes. I also wrote the book Dr. Brady’s Healthy Revolution: What You Really Need to Know to Stay Healthy in a Sick World, which has helped thousands of people resolve their health issues.
Initially, my practice grew over the years by word of mouth from patients whom I had successfully treated. More recently, my participation in several very popular online health summits and programs has further increased visibility of my work, and this has drawn hundreds of new people to my clinical practice. My approach is well-recognized and highly regarded, leading to collaborations and presentations at major conferences with some of the health and wellness community’s leading minds and advocates, including Drs. Mark Hyman, David Perlmutter, William Davis, Gerard Mullin, Amy Myers, Jeffrey Bland, Peter D’Adamo, Susan Blum, Izabella Wentz, diet expert J. J. Virgin, and many more.
Because of the unique focus of my practice, I have been able to investigate fibromyalgia and global pain disorders, champion those who have them, and devise a pathway to diagnosis and treatment that can deliver you from pain for good. My latest book, The Fibro Fix delves into the true causes of your problems and it will show you how to discover the precise conditions underlying your chronic pain and fatigue. And it will show you, at last, how to access customized approaches to resolve these issues and to become your own best health advocate, allowing you to successfully navigate the health care system and find your recovery.
